The apparent completion of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II has brought with it a round of layoffs at LucasArts.
LucasArts confirmed the cuts in a statement (via Kotaku), "LucasArts is reorganizing its teams to better address the needs of the internal studio. Unfortunately, this means adjusting staffing,"
"LucasArts continues to be committed to creating a first-class internal studio ? and to fostering relationships with trusted external partners ? in order to deliver quality games that amaze and inspire fans."
Zur Detail-Ansicht...Though Rockstar missed its original June release date for Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on iPad, the delay might have been worth it for a cool release date: September 9 (a.k.a. "9/9"), which goes very well with the $9.99 price. That's actually the same price as the iPhone version, and you get updated graphics for that (relatively) enormous iPad screen!
Like the iPhone version, Chinatown Wars HD includes a customizable "Independence Radio" station, so you can listen to your own music while fueling gang wars and looking for the most profitable drug deals, and then keep the music going...

MAG players can now add extra characters to their roster for a nominal fee.
Over on the MAG blog, Zipper Interactive announced that an additional character slot can be had for $0.99. Up to two additional slots can be purchased.
As it turns out, it's not a one-time fee either. The extra character will last 30 days, after which they will become unavailable unless the subscription is renewed. Additional characters that aren't renewed are stored in MAG's server until the subscription is reactivated.

The unit will be bundled with Kinect Adventures for AUD $199 (USD $181). A console bundle with Kinect (presumably the 4GB Xbox bundle we've seen before) will retail for AUD $449 (USD $407).

Indie developer Perpetual FX has announced its first PlayStation Move title, due out this December on PSN: Top Hand Rodeo Tour. As you might imagine, the motion-controlled game tasks you with performing a number of acts of forceful animal husbandry, including calf roping and team roping.
